Made with unrefined shea butter and mango butter and cold-processed shea nut oil, marula oil, meadowfoam seed oil, jojoba oil, and argan oil.
What makes kühn beard oil so different? Well, like everything we make, our beard oil is better in 3 distinct ways. Our beard oil looks better, smells better, and performs better.
All of our oils are cold-pressed oils. They're aren't refined like the oils you'll find in other companies' oils which uses heat and/or chemicals to process the oils. Cold-pressed oils are more natural and retain more of the natural moisturizing and healing properties they were meant to have.
Our beard oil absorbs into the skin and beard. There isn't a layer of grease on your face and beard after applying our beard oil. We don't use heavy, thick oils like castor oil or olive oil. Those oils have a time a place, beard oil is not one of them.
Shea Nut Oil: Rich in oleic and stearic essential fatty acids, shea nut oil is a superior personal care oil that's ideal for nourishing and moisturizing your hair, scalp, and skin. This luxurious oil absorbs quickly, so you'll enjoy youthful, radiant skin and healthy, lustrous hair without any greasy residue.
Marula Oil: High in antioxidants, essential fatty acids, and amino acids. It's widely used as an ingredient in skin care products, and appears to be beneficial for oily, acne-prone, dry, and aging skin. It's also effective at keeping hair soft, supple, and moisturized.
Meadowfoam Seed Oil: The oil is also similar in texture to sebum, making it good protection from the elements. The result is softer, plumper skin. Meadowfoam seed oil also contains vitamin E, a natural antioxidant, which helps protect the skin against damage from the sun and pollution
Jojoba Oil: has nti-inflammatory effects and has potential uses in a variety of conditions, including skin infections, aging and wound healing. There’s also evidence displaying jojoba oil for acne, seborrheic dermatitis (dry, scaly skin) and eczema can be effective as well.
Argan Oil: protects from sun damage, antioxidant and anti-inflammatory. Helps regulate sebum production thus helping those with oily skin to prevent breakouts. Reduces frizz and breakage in dry hair making perfect for beards.
