Its a good clay for the beard, it holds well, and doesnt leave it greasy looking which i like. Smell is good not strong at all. Only thing I have found is some parts of the clay dont melt in your hands and you have to pick them out. A small inconvenience for not having a greasy looking beard though. If that didnt happen would be a definite 5 star product.

I was already using the beard balm without kaolin clay. I thought I would try kaolin clay blend simply because the town I'm from in Benton. Arkansas has a pottery that was made here in the past from our local kaolin clay. It is now very collectable and in demand. They called it Niloak which is kaolin spelled backwards. I love the old pottery and I think this beard balm is the best on the market and I have tried quite a few. Great control on taming flyaways and for shaping beard. The scents are fantastic.

I have seriously enjoyed this balm and so far my favorite scent is Cedar & Amber. It has great control and lasts for several hours. My only issue has been a couple of cans have been gritty so it does take a little extra combing to get the little gritty pieces out. Overall, this is an excellent product.

I was buying my beard stuff from Amazon and had gotten fed up with the quality and effectiveness of the stuff I found there.. I was also seriously disappointed by the lack of consideration when it came to scent profiles. I've been in the beard game for six years now. It's a constant process of trying new products to find what works best for me. Kuhn so far is exceptional. I have coarse hair and it holds and tames it really well. It also doesn't make the beard too shiny. I've already bought fives cans just to be sure I don't run out.

It provides strong hold, but what I love most is the finish the clay provides. It gives my beard a softer look, avoiding the shine that traditional balms sometimes create.

I’ve been using beard products for close to 15 years and I’ve never found one that works as great as this balm/clay product. It keeps my beard soft and with great hold. I recently ordered the balm/clay and liked the scent at first, but as the day went, I started to not like it as much. Kuhn has an exchange program for a better scent. I e-mailed them one morning, and within five minutes they replied and are sending me another scent of my choice! This is unheard of during these present times. Great product with a large variety of scents. None of this is rocket science but the balance of wax, oils and clay in the balm is spot on. You could probably buy the various components to do this yourself but who needs another hobby and at it's current price it certainly is worth it for myself. I no longer need a heated brush or blow dryer to manage my beard; this balm with clay does a wonderful job.

The balm with kaolin clay is exactly the missing piece my beard needed! It absolutely has made my beard healthier, moisturized, and looking it’s best! Only negative, is I haven’t found a scent that works and hits perfectly. Example: I use Creed Aventus in the summer, and Tom Ford Ombré Leather in the colder months.
