This is hands down some of the best beard oil I have ever used. Premium oils and awesome smells. The scents arent over powering but will definetly last throughout the day. Bair Canyon is my absolute favorite.
This is my 3rd order of beard oil. I can honestly say that it has been treat to try 8 different scents. I have liked everyone so far. The beard Balm is killer as well. Oil is not greasy dries quickly and last all day. You cant go wong with any of these oils.

Butter and beard oils are amazing. They helped made my beard soft and soothed my itchy skin. So many good scents it is hard to choose which ones you like. Misty mountain is my favorite! It smells so good that strangers have asked what it is and where they can get it!
I bought three oils: Cedar and Amber, Misty Mountain, and Black Sea. Each is amazing and exceeded expectations. The oils are the highest quality I've every used, and the scents are fantastic.
Cedar and Amber is a rich and comforting scent that, to me at least, goes well in colder weather or around a campfire on a warm spring night. It's smoky with the amber providing a nice sweetness.
Misty Mountain is one of my favorites--it strikes me as more of a year-round scent, but completely appropriate for the warmer months (finding an appropriate scent in warmer weather has been a bit of an issue for me with fragrances). It smells foresty in a way I love, while also offering a bit more than a woodsy scent.
The Black Sea oil was a pleasant surprise. I was on the fence about whether this would be an appropriate spring-time scent or would be more appropriate for the autumn. It would definitely work in both seasons, but looking for a spring-time scent, I was very pleased how the rich musky fragrance interacts with the sweet but mellow plum.
Love these oils, the texture and scent are perfect. The oil in comparison to the butters or balms seems to have less going on in terms of other ingredients that distract from the intended scent and capture the scent profile best off all the offerings. I think the pump bottle is awesome too as there is no risk of leaving the cap untightened like a dropper bottle and knocking it over on the counter to spill out.
Love the Bair Canyon scent! If it were a little more pine heavy vs fir heavy it would be my go to scent. The fir drives my mind more to the holiday season but the scent itself is awesome and I really enjoy it.
For me so far I love anything Mahogany. The mahogany scent is truly strong and bold. I have it in the clay butter, oil and co-wash which is truly badass!. I recommend Kuhn products. So scents are litter than others. But the carrier blend in oils and the different choices of needs in the butter is great. The clay scent is noticeable in the butter. In the can and in the beard. I think it adds a little depth to the scent, then it fades after about 30 minutes or so. At first it takes a little getting use to. But the outcome in this old grey beard is well worth it. Specially when i apply before bedtime. Wake up with a super soft beard.

All I used for my beard now so Kühn products. I’ve been on a journey searching for the absolute best products, and I ended up finding the best very close to me in my home state. Finding Kühn took my trying about 6 or 7 other beard brands until I settled here. The scents are amazing. The consistency of the balm vs the butter is spot on, and everything works together. I’m finished search because I’ve found the best!
This is by far the best smelling bead oils that I have used. Bair canyon is hands down my favorite followed by mountain forrest. The smell isnt overpowering but definetly long lasting. Quality product and I will be trying additional scents but Bair Canyon will be a staple in my routine. Smells amazing. Great job!!
I ordered a 3 pack of bears oil since I really did like it. Also asked for a little faster shipping which they did. I received the order in just a couple days compared to over 2 weeks the first time. However the 3 pack of oils were broken and leaked through the box. I promptly took pictures and reached out to Kuhns. They immediately responded, credited me the amount and sent a replacement which also came quickly. I believe the packaging packing could be better since the containers are glass.

My son-in-law first introduced me to beard oils and a beard brush. I tried several at the time, but they didn’t seem to work very well for me. Later, while visiting a farmers market, I came across Kuhn beard products. After trying the available scents, I found several I really liked and decided to purchase a few.
I’ve been using them ever since and have been extremely pleased with the results. I really enjoy the scents, how soft they make my beard feel, and how much better my beard looks overall.
I’ve also found it works great as a light hair oil. After applying it to my beard, I simply pat the remainder onto my hair. It adds a nice shine and helps keep everything looking neat and under control.
I’m completely sold on this product and would definitely recommend it to anyone looking for a quality beard oil.
Of three fragrances ordered, Whiskey Mountain, Birchwood and Palo Santo/ musk, the Palo Santo is my favorite, now my go to. It has the Palo Santo deep, smokey and smoldering woodsy scent with just enough musk to give it a little more character. The Birchwood was very pleasant and smooth. The whiskey mountain was just not right for me, or my wife. She said it smelled a little too much like a “hot toddy”, and I can’t upset her.
I've been through everything from mad viking to detroit grooming company for beard oils. They are both great products but the Kuhn ones are by far the best smelling ones I've used, wife thought I was wearing designer cologne. This is in regards to the mahogany and Baltic sea.
I purchased your beard oil for my son, Cameron. As you can see in the photo, he has a very full beard. He’s very picky about what he uses and takes great pride in his beard. He absolutely loved all of the oils I chose for him. He said they are top notch and you don’t need to use much. Cameron said it’s the best oil he’s ever used. He’s really enjoying the scents as well.

This oil is fantastic. My beard feels amazing after using. It's by far one of the best I've ever used. My beard feels healthy and not greasy at all. The oil absorbs extremely well. Warm a small amount between your palms until it melts, then work it through — damp or dry, doesn't matter much. Focus on the flyaways, balm works better for that.
Can I use shampoo or hair conditioner on my beard?
Yes, you can — though it's better to use our co-wash. It's sulfate-free and keeps your hair and beard feeling moisturized instead of dried out, which is what regular shampoo sulfates will do to it.
Are beard oils safe?
Yes — ours is non-comedogenic, five real cold-pressed oils, no phthalates or filler. If you've got a known nut or seed oil allergy, check the ingredients first like you would with anything else you put on your skin.
What beard products do I actually need?
Co-wash in the shower, then oil, butter, or balm after you towel off. That combo alone will make your beard really soft — add balm on top of the oil or butter if you also want hold.
Does beard balm/butter/oil help my beard grow?
No — nothing you put on your face makes hair grow faster, that's genetics. What balm does is stop breakage and calm the itch that makes guys pick and over-trim, so you keep more of what you're already growing.
How much beard balm should I use?
Usually more than you think — I see a lot of guys use too little. Just keep applying until it feels like enough for the length of your beard. Longer beard, more balm. Thicker beard, more balm.
What is beard balm used for?
Balm's heavier and thicker than oil or butter, so it holds. That's what keeps your flyaways down and helps your beard keep its shape through the day, on top of conditioning it.
Is beard balm the same as beard butter?
Nope. My balm's about 30% beeswax, my butter's only around 5% — so butter still has a touch of hold, just way less than balm. Both condition your beard, balm just adds a lot more hold on top of that.
Should I use beard butter at night?
Sure. Good option if you want deep conditioning working overnight without any hold or shine the next morning.
How often should I use beard butter/balm/oil?`
Daily. Damp beard, right after your shower.
Do you use beard butter or oil first?
You can use both, if you want — I'd do oil first, it's easier to apply butter on top after. But you don't have to use both. Either one alone works fine, oil for a normal day, butter if your beard's especially dry.
Can I use beard oil, balm, and butter together?
Yes, and a lot of guys do. Oil or butter for daily conditioning, balm on top if you want hold. Just don't use oil and butter in the same routine — pick one based on how dry your beard's running that day.
I use beard oil/balm/butter but my beard is still really dry and unruly, why?
A well moisturized beard starts in the shower and what you wash it with. If you wash your beard with shampoo or regular bar soap, your beard is being stripped and will be very dry. You need to use a conditioner or co-wash.
I'm new to beard products, what's the difference between oil/balm/butter?
They are all designed to moisturize your skin and beard, they just do it in a slightly different manner. Keep it simple. Short beards, beard oil. A bit longer, beard butter. Longer and/or thicker unruly beards, beard balm. Start with an oil and butter if you're new, then go from there.
What's the shelf life of oil/balm/butter?
12 months if stored in a cool, dry place.
How much do I use of oil/balm/butter?
Depends on the length of your beard, but most don't use enough. You need enough to cover all of the hair follicles. It's difficult to apply too much, and very easy to use too little.
How long does the scent last?
You should expect 6-8 hour from our scents.
Will it stain my clothes?
No, it shouldn't. Most beard products leave a greasy film on the outside of your beard which can rub off onto your clothes. Our products are designed to absorb fully so there shouldn't be any transfer onto your shirt or other clothing.
What if I order a scent I don't like?
TOO BAD! I already got your money. JK. If you order any product from kühn and you're not happy with the scent, we will replace it with the scent of you choice. We'll never make someone keep a scent they won't wear.
