I love Kühn beard products. I use the oil on my beard at bed time and the co-wash when I get home from work and take a shower and then I use beard butter when I get ready for work in the morning. I’ve been trying all of the scents and haven’t found one that I don’t like but my favorites are cedar & amber, cedar & cinnamon, and cedar & leather.

Great scents as always! I was afraid that the kaolin clay would affect the scent but it absolutely does not! My beard is very gray with a tint of red still there as well but it is also super dry unless I use a quality beard butter and Kuhn beard butter with kaolin clay really softens!!

The products makes my beard super soft and my skin is no longer dry/itchy. I get the Cherry Pipe at first you get the Cherry smell up front but then the Pipe smell kicks in leaving a nice wood smell with hints of Cherry. Chris the owner is also awesome and is very helpful plus he backs up his products and replies back quickly. I definitely recommend and highly suggest emailing Chris if you have any questions he is like a beard wizard.

Chris makes some really wonderful products. I love how gentle the beard butter with Kaolin clay is on my skin. No irritation, no pimples, and really lovely scents. I have used the Cedar and Amber(my favourite so far), the Misty Mountain-very fresh and light, and Cherry Pipe which smells very much like it sounds. All of them have been great smelling(wife approved), and I look forward to trying more! I’m not a fan of your Beard Butter. It always leaves my beard feeling very dried out after using. I have ready up on your use of bees wax in the butter but it still doesn’t seem right. The co-wash is just ok. It feels more like a thick lotion for your beard. The balm is ok, very difficult to figure out the right amount to use. It’s so difficult to apply even after vigorous rubbing of the hands to heat it up. Either it’s not enough and just moisturizes my hands or too much and it’s caked in the beard. I think I’ll stick to making my own homemade stuff.

This was my second order from Kuhn products! Picked up the butter with clay to try out. Works very similar to Kuhn’s beard oil just alittle thicker. Still need to use Balm for “hold” but if you’re looking for something to keep your beard and skin under your beard from being dry this is the stuff. Just scoop some onto your hands, rub in both hands to get it thinned down and then work into your beard. Love the scents that are offered and have received many compliments from others about them.

This is a quality product hands down. One of the better butters Ive used ! Only reason for 3 stars is because Im not picking up barely any scent on this ? Cedar Amber is the scent. The oil smells phenomenal then dissipates quickly. The butter not smelling much of anything ? Wouldn’t order it this scent again.The butter itself is awesome ! Otherwise 5 stars.

Mother of baby jesus this is what I have been looking for. I have no idea what voodoo clay is placed within the confines of the tin, but I am sure that I have covered my entire body in it. I use it to get into wetsuits, as axle grease in my dually, and, surprisingly, for its intended use as a beard butter. Overmany compliments. Beard feels the best it has in years. I like both options, but if you are on the fence, get the one with the clay. It changes the scent profile slightly but makes up for it in the wear feel and all-day lightness. (I hope that makes sense.)

I bought the sample pack for my husband to try out different scents and they all smelled incredible! My pregnant friend is having a rough morning sickness and she said that my husband's beard smelled amazing (scent: Mahogany)! The next scent he tried, I could smell it from the other side of our house (scent: Cedar & Leather)! I instantly became a bloodhound tracking my husband down because he smelled like a snack! I wanted to live in his beard! My husband's beard has always been dry and wire-y but since he's been using the oil and butter it is super soft and thick! For 2 weeks, he tried all the scents and balms and the one that we both loved is Cedar and Leather! These are by far the best oils and balms he has ever used. He's tried Walmart brands to other big name brands and they smelled nice but nothing like this brand! After learning about and researching and using beardcare products for six months now, I know what companies and ingredients are the best,and which ones to avoid. Kuhn stands tall in the beardcare industry,easily one of the very best butters out there. Unique scents and packaging. The scents are very long lasting. The clay in the butter helps their butter stand apart from the crowd. Silky smooth texture just like the absolute best butters out there. I'm so glad I discovered Kuhn a month or so ago. Again they are up there with what I consider a gikden handful of the best companies and butter, top notch number one. I will keep buying Kuhn clay butter and other products as long as I have a beard. Kaolin clay butter feels good in my old gray corse beard. I went with the mahogany scent. Which is badass by the way. My only problem was the strong smell of the kaolin Clay. It’s pretty strong for about 10 to 15 minutes then goes away. Then all Is left is a nice medium mahogany scent. I wish more company’s offered a strength boost. It could have been a little stronger. But all and all I love Kuhn products. The carrier blends work very well and smells really good. Next time I’m going to have to try the beard and body butter. 100% will buy more Kuhn products.

This stuff is amazing - nothing else comes close to the softening and conditioning this offers my gray beard. Super nourishing, and the scent is 100% dialed in. I bought the black sea with kaolin clay because I heard nothing but good things to say about it. The butter is super soft, hydrating and easy to apply. The scent is my major hiccup though. It is so strong that for hours after application I cant smell anything but the butter. The scent also has a synthetic quality to it. Other than the scent Im impressed with the product and getting responses within minutes from the company is fantastic.
